If you pay your own property taxes and live in a home you own in Section 3, there is a $41.15 sanitary landfill charge which Section 3 has already paid for you, so deduct that amount from your property tax bill. If your bank pays the taxes, usually they pay every 6 months based on a bill sent to them electronically by the County. Any adjustment will be made in the next bill they send to your lender, so you needn’t worry. If you have already paid your bill, the County will make the adjustment on your bill due Dec. 1.
